Summer Women's Gathering
Workshops, shared food, and a panel on getting back into professional work. Scarborough, around 120 came.
Business Skills Intensive, Cohort 3
Six evenings on bookkeeping, pricing and registering a business in Ontario. Toronto, 28 women finished.
Community Fundraising Dinner
Organised end to end for a partner organisation, from venue to programme to clean-up. Etobicoke, around 200 came.
Leadership Forum
A morning of talks and small-group work on leading without a title. Scarborough, 74 came.
Educational Show
Our schools and families showcase, with exhibitors and short talks. North York, around 150 came.
Most organisations delete their past
We looked at thirty organisations doing work like ours across Ontario. Not one of them keeps a proper record of the events they have already run. Several have an events page that tells you, in so many words, that there is nothing on at present.
To anyone deciding whether to trust them, that reads as though nothing is happening at all. So we keep the record. Every event stays here with its date, its place, and a photograph of the people who came.
